Final week begins for delayed warrant arrest period
- Individuals have until February 18 to pay fines -

Individuals with outstanding misdemeanor warrants have until February 18 to submit payment and avoid the risk of arrest under a delayed enforcement period. Already, more than 7,808 warrants have been cleared at Municipal Court as a result of the delayed enforcement. The 2008 Statewide Warrant Roundup is set to begin on Tuesday, February 19.

Persons may visit Municipal Court at 401 S. Frio to pay their fines. The Court is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays. Individuals do not have to present their original citation; however, the person appearing must be charged with the violation. Payments are accepted by cash, check, credit card or money order. Payments may also be made on the internet at www.sanantonio.gov/court. Persons wishing to pay a non-traffic warrant or request a payment plan must appear at the Municipal Court.

Individuals who cannot make it downtown to Municipal Court and wish to pay their traffic warrant in full can visit one of the City’s four Community Link Centers to pay their fines. The person charged with the violation must appear at the following Community Link locations:

    Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

    Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

To determine if there is an outstanding warrant, only individuals charged with an offense may call 207-2023 or 207-8970. You can also access the internet at www.sanantonio.gov/pay and enter the name, date of birth and drivers license number.

The warrant roundup is an effort the City is taking to clear over 249,000 outstanding warrants on more than 122,000 individuals. This number also includes those individuals who reside in the County but have outstanding municipal court warrants from the City of San Antonio. San Antonio is one of 160 Texas cities participating in the 2nd Annual Statewide Warrant Roundup.
