Public Comment period extended for SBEDA Ordinance

The Economic Development Department has extended the public comment period for the Draft Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Ordinance. Stakeholders, organizations and residents interested in reviewing the draft will now be able to do so until Wednesday, October 14.

The draft ordinance is based on the findings and recommendations of the 2009 City of San Antonio Regional Business Disparity Causation Analysis Study as well as input from business stakeholders and the public.

The public can also learn more about the draft ordinance during the City of San Antonio Small Business Advocacy Committee (SBAC) Business Stakeholder's Meeting from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 12, at Municipal Plaza Building - B Room, 114 W. Commerce.
