Last day to file as a City Council candidate is Monday

The last day to file as a candidate for the May 9 City Council General Election is Monday, March 9. Applications will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. in the Office of the City Clerk located on the second floor of City Hall.

Qualified candidates must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years of age, and be a registered City of San Antonio voter. Qualified candidates must have lived in their respective City Council District for at least six months and in San Antonio for at least one year.

Early voting by personal appearance for the May 9 General Election begins Monday, April 27 and ends Tuesday, May 5.
