City meetings, events canceled due to weather conditions

Several City of San Antonio meetings and events have been cancelled today due to inclement weather conditions.

• Today’s community bond meeting, Streets and Sidewalks committee, scheduled for 5:00 p.m. has been canceled. However, community bond committees meetings are expected to continue on Wednesday (Drainage Committee at 5:30 p.m.) and Thursday (Community Initiatives at 3 p.m.) at the Development and Business Services Center, 1901 S. Alamo.
• The City of San Antonio Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for 1:00 p.m. today at the Development and Business Services Center has been canceled.
• A presentation by legendary rapper Chuck D. scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight at Trinity University’s Laurie Auditorium has been postponed. The event, co-sponsored by the City’s MLK Commission and Trinity University, will be rescheduled at a later date.
• Two community meetings regarding the automated garbage and recycling collection program scheduled for tonight at Burke Elementary and Rayburn Elementary have been cancelled. These meetings will be rescheduled.
