City looking for community input for Fiscal Year 2009 budget proposal

The City of San Antonio annual budget process is underway. Once again, the City is asking citizens for their input. Those residents that are interested in providing feedback to the budget planners are encouraged to submit their suggestions to the City's Budget Input Box.

Suggestions or ideas on how the City can increase efficiencies, generate new revenues or make effective changes to service delivery may be submitted in English or Spanish to the budget box. All of the suggestions that fall within the scope of what the City provides will be reviewed and considered by City staff for the FY 2009 Budget Development Process. All ideas should be submitted by July 14, 2008.

Please note that you will be required to submit the following information when making a suggestion:
* Suggestion title
* Suggestion description
* Suggestion purpose

To make a budget suggestion log on to the City's web site at http://www.sanantonio.gov/budget/cbid.asp and click on the Budget Input Box icon or drop your suggestion in one of the boxes located at the public libraries or Community Link Centers.
