Summer Youth Programs

Looking for some great summer programs for your children? The City's Parks and Recreation Department’s Kid Quest 2008 may have every thing you're looking for. Youth ages 6 to 12 can experience an entire summer of sports, crafts, games, art and science activities .

This Summer the youth recreation program will be offered June 16 through August 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at approximately 64 school-based sites and includes a free lunch and afternoon snack.

Registration for the program will be held on Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Alamodome and will continue on Monday, May 12 at the San Antonio Parks & Recreation Office, 1635 NE Loop 410, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until all the slots are filled.  This year, the cost of the program will be based on a family’s income and size.
