San Antonio International Airport offers new travel benefit...Wi-Fi

The San Antonio International Airport is offering travelers a new benefit when they arrive at their designated terminal--access to the internet. On July 4, both facilities at the airport became giant "hot spots" offering free Wi-Fi for laptop users.

San Antonio is the only major airport in the state to offer free Wi-Fi service. Most airports contract with service providers, resulting in customers having to pay a fee to surf the internet.

Travelers on business or just trying to pass the time in the San Antonio airport will be able to easily access the internet by clicking on the "SAIA Wi-Fi" icon once they power up. The coverage areas includes all public areas in Terminal One and Terminal Two along with the Cell Phone Waiting Lot. Stinson Municipal Airport is scheduled to offer the same free service within a few months.
