Celebrate San Antonio
- City gears up to ring in the new year with annual celebration event -

It's the biggest party of the year! San Antonio’s New Year’s Eve spectacular, Celebrate San Antonio. This event offers something for all San Antonians including five musical stages and special entertainment areas for children and families.

This free event is produced by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio and is sponsored by KENS-TV. Celebrate San Antonio attracts approximately 250,000 people to the downtown area.

The huge downtown party begins at 6:00 p.m. on South Alamo Street between Market and Durango and throughout historic La Villita. Urban 15’s Carnaval de San Anto will kick-off the festivities that last until 12:30 a.m.

The highlight of the evening begins as midnight strikes and the New Year officially rolls in with a spectacular fireworks show that uses the Tower of Americas as its backdrop.
