City adjusts wastes colllection, other service schedules for holidays
City Hall and most municipal offices will be
closed Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, to
observe the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.
In observance of the holidays, there will be no
garbage or recyclable collection on Monday, December 25 or Monday,
January 1. Residents who receive manual collection or have the one
automated cart will receive service on their next scheduled collection
day. However, residents who are on the new two-cart automated garbage
and recyclable collection will receive service on a “sliding schedule”
as follows: If your automated garbage collection is on Monday, you
will receive service on Tuesday; If your automated garbage collection
is on Tuesday, you will receive service on Wednesday. Regular
collection schedule will resume January 8.
Additionally, all libraries and Municipal Court
will be closed both days. Police, fire and EMS personnel as well as
animal care officers will be on duty.
