Expand your company's position in the global marketplace

The City of San Antonio International Affairs Department is accepting applications for the 2007 San Antonio Export Leaders Program (SAELP). The four month program is designed for companies considering entering or expanding their position in the global marketplace. Over a period of seven years, the program developed 164 participants who attribute trade generation in excess of $35 million.

The 2007 SAELP enters the eighth year of serving the San Antonio business community. SAELP includes four training seminars by industry experts and a trade mission to City of San Antonio trade offices in Monterrey and Mexico City. The program counts on partnerships with the University of Texas at San Antonio International Trade Center and the U.S. Department of Commerce Foreign Commercial Service.

The International Affairs Department serves as the focal point for attracting and promoting foreign trade, investment and international relations for the San Antonio community. The efforts are accomplished by promoting San Antonio target industries abroad through the foreign trade offices in Mexico and Japan as well as Sister City programs and protocol guidance.
