- City hosts seminar to assist small business owners with their business plan -

The City’s Economic Development Department (EDD) Small Business Outreach Division will be hosting a workshop on Wednesday, January 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Frost Bank Tower, 100 W. Houston St., Suite 1900.

The seminar is entitled “Placing Your Business on the Map: Business Plan Writing and Financing Options.” It is geared toward prospective and existing business owners who want assistance both with learning how to write a basic business plan and learn about financing a business. 

Participants will learn about the essential elements of an effective business plan, conducting market research, and financing options. Key information will be provided by the South Texas Women’s Business Center and the South Texas Business Fund. In addition, the workshop will provide information on the various business assistance services available from the City’s Economic Development Department Small Business Outreach Division.
