Elected City official

If you have ever had an interest in politics or have been considering running for Mayor or City Council, the Office of the City Clerk in conjunction with the Office of the City Attorney and the Texas Ethics Commission are hosting upcoming workshops you might be interested in.

Individuals who are interested in running for an elected position should attend one of two Election/Campaign Finance workshops this month. Participants will be introduced to the basics of running for City Council as well as state and municipal campaign finance regulations.

The workshops will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2 and Friday, July 11 at the Cliff Morton Development and Business Services Center, 1901 South Alamo.
