Summer travel tips
It's officially summer which means millions of Americans are hitting
the road to their vacation destination. But before you pack up the
family and hit the door running, here are a few travel tips to
assist you during this peak vacation season.
If you are thinking of flying airline carriers suggest that you keep
the following tips in mind:

Don't procrastinate. Make sure
that you book flights early.

Think about traveling during
off-peak times. Off-peak times consist of mid-morning through
early afternoon Monday through Thursday.

Keep security in mind when
packing. It's summer so security lines will be long. Remember
that all bags will be screened or searched so you want to make
sure that valuables and medications are packed in your carry-on
luggage.

Remember to have identification on
all of your luggage and it's best not to lock your luggage. Most
airlines provide complimentary ID tags at their ticket counters.

Arrive early to the airport.
Patrons should arrive at least two hours prior to their
scheduled departure time.

proper photo ID.
