Dallas Cowboys make their summer home in the Alamodome
The Alamodome will be the summer home of America’s
Team. The Dallas Cowboys will be returning to the dome for their 2007
training camp! Due to scheduling conflicts, the Cowboys trained in
Oxnard, California, the past three years. But the “Boys” are will
train in San Antonio until 2011. A FREE Dallas Cowboys Kick-Off Event is
scheduled Tuesday, July 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Alamodome to celebrate
their return to San Antonio. Jerry Jones will make an appearance, as
well as head coach Wade Phillips, Cowboys players, Dallas Cowboys
Cheerleaders, team mascot Rowdy, and Los Lonely Boys will perform. Practices at the Alamodome are tentatively
scheduled to begin July 28 and run through August 8, with the final
week of Cowboys' training camp taking place in Irving. (Dates, times
