Southeast Community Link Center open for
business
Last month, the City's Customer Service Department celebrated its
re-grand opening of their Southeast Community Link Center location.
The center recently relocated from McCreless Mall to the new City Base
Landing Shopping Center, 3154 S.E. Military Drive.
During the event, District 3 Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos made brief
remarks on the significance of the center to the community. Other City
officials and community leaders attended the celebration along with
several businesses within the shopping center. Visitors had the
opportunity to tour the facility, meet the staff and get an overview
of all the services offered to the customers.
The City Base Community Link Center is one of four centers that the
City operates. Each center provides a convenient location to access
City services. Citizens can obtain trade permits, purchase garage sale
permits, reserve park facilities, pay a traffic ticket, pick up police
records, even obtain birth certificates or shot records with the same
ease as picking up a carton of milk at the supermarket. The centers
are open Monday through Saturday.
