City's Fleet Department ranks as one of the best in the nation

The City's Fleet Department received national recognition last month as they were named as one of the top ten fleet operations in the nation.

San Antonio was ranked as the seventh most efficient fleet operation in North America by Government Fleet Magazine during the CCG/FASTER Annual National Conference in Norfolk, Virginia. They were one of 760 fleet operations that were considered for this prestigious award based upon peer recognition, other national recognitions, best business practices and site visits by the judging panel. San Antonio also received special recognition for their working environment and productivity.

This is the second time in five years that the City's Fleet Department has been recognized as one of the top 100 fleet operations in the nation, but the first time it has ranked in the top ten.
