Movies by Moonlight goes Halloween

This month's Movies by Moonlight, goes to the ghosts, monsters and extra-terrestrial we have come to love.

Residents are invited to enjoy the spirit of Halloween each Thursday this October as some of the creepiest and scary movies take to the screen at Hemisfair Park. The movies are shown in the grassy area under the park arch and the Magik Theater building at S. Alamo and Nueva. Show time starts at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-show entertainment featuring old-time cartoons and the feature film begins at 8:10 p.m. Concessions are available for purchase.

This month's lineup promises to make you howl with laughter and fright.

October 2 - The E.T. Extra-Terrestrial
October 9 - Young Frankenstein
October 16 - Ghostbusters
October 23 - The Birds
October 30 - Nosferatu (Silent Dracula Movie accompanied by live music)
