Houston Street Fair has something for everyone

Where can you find live music, children’s activities, handmade arts and crafts, sizzling fajitas and other mouth-watering treats, ice-cold beverages, fresh fruits and vegetables, and adoptable pets? Enjoy all of these at the next Houston Street Fair and Market on October 28.

Houston Street FairThis free, monthly event has something for every member of the family. The Houston Street Fair happens the last Saturday of every month in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Each month, the fair moves from east Houston Street (between Alamo and Navarro) to west Houston Street (between Flores and Santa Rosa). The fair begins at noon and ends at 6:00 p.m.

October’s fair will take place on the east side of Houston Street. It will feature the San Antonio Public Library's Great Read and provide visitors with the chance to meet several local authors.

Free parking on event day is available beginning at noon in the City’s St. Mary’s Street Parking Garage located at 400 N. St. Mary’s at Travis Street.

The Houston Street Fair and Market also is looking for art, craft, goods and food vendors who would like the opportunity to participate in this family friendly event.
