Latino Music Festival
The Heart of the City will once again take center stage in September
as Main Plaza hosts the inaugural San Antonio Latino Music Festival.
The two-day celebration taking place on Friday, September 12 and
Saturday, September 13 will feature some of San Antonio's and the
state's best Latino artists including storied Tex-Mex accordionist
Flaco Jimenez, Texas Tornado Augie Meyers, singer Rita Vidaurri, and
Sextol Sol. On Friday, the show will begin at 6:00 p.m. and on
Saturday, the music will begin at noon.
The event is free and open to the
public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and
blankets. Concessions will be available. For more information and

Volunteer opportunities are also available for the festival.
Individuals are needed to be greeters and runners. If you are
