Staying cool in the South Texas heat

Heat-related injuries can occur any time the body cannot effectively cool itself. It does not have to be more than 100 degrees outside before a heat-related injury can occur. San Antonio and Bexar County are officially in a Level I Hot Weather Health Watch. Under the City’s Heat Plan, those conditions warrant the Level I activation.
