Environmental Policy Director - W. Laurence Doxsey

W. Laurence Doxsey W. Laurence Doxsey was named the Environmental Policy Director for the City of San Antonio’s Office of Environmental Policy in July of 2008. In addition to the position’s day to day duties, Doxsey will oversee the development of the City of San Antonio’s Sustainability Plan to further the City’s environmental vision, commitment and innovation. 

Before joining the City, Doxsey was the Regional Energy Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He has over thirty years of experience in sustainability programming, green building and renewable energy initiatives. He also served as the Sustainability Officer for the City of Austin and prior to that contributed to the development of the nationally recognized Austin Green Building Program.
