Starting Out Wild

Starting Out Wild
Toddler Program for Ages 1 - 3 years
Friedrich Wilderness Park - 21395 Milsa
Dates:
July 12 or 19 - Breakfast for a Bird
August 9 or 16 - Grow, Grow, Grow
$3 per child per session.

These high energy, engaging programs include stories, music, games, finger play, crafts and snacks based on sound ecological principles. This is a perfect way to begin or foster young children's enjoyment of the natural world. It is recommended that a child be walking and a parent must attend with each child. Dress for the weather. A portion of each class will be conducted outdoors.

The programs initially will be conducted at Friedrich Park indoor classroom, adjacent covered patio on the trails. The programs have been developed by professionals in early childhood education and include adapted elements from Project WILD's "Growing up Wild" curriculum for 3 - 7 year olds.

Dress for the weather. Part of the class will be outside. It is recommended that a child be walking and a parent or adult must attend with each child. Siblings are allowed if they do not distract.
