The Parks and Recreation Department offers co-ed flag football, volleyball, soccer, baseball, t-ball, dodge ball and boys 16 and under basketball.
Registration is currently underway, Monday through Friday, from 2 to 9 p.m. at participating community centers and will continue until all slots are filled.
The following activities are available to youth at the department’s community centers including:
Baseball &
T-Ball* Offered at Garza, Millers Pond, and *Yates Community Centers (also offers T-Ball)
Basketball Offered at Melendrez Community Center
Dodge ball Offered at Cuellar, Dawson, and Southside Side Lions Community Centers
Flag Football Offered at 11 area Community Center Locations
Soccer Offered at Lou Hamilton and Ramirez Community Centers
Volleyball Offered at Copernicus, Ramirez, & Palm Heights Community Centers
Parents may contact the community center of their choice to find out what age groups are offered. League play begins the week of Sept. 10 and the fee to participate is $6 per player.
