It's not America's Got Talent, but it's the next best thing. Talented San Antonians of all ages are invited to take the stage in pursuit of cash prizes in the Parks and Recreation Department’s Our Part of Town auditions, the City's most viewed televised talent competition. For the first time, the competition went digital in 2011, which means contestants have a number of options including submitting a CD and/or DVD or emailing a YouTube link and an MP3 file to the Parks and Recreation Department at opot@sanantonio.gov.

CD's and/or DVD's must be submitted in person along with a signed release of liability and application forms to Parks and Recreation Headquarters, 5800 Old Highway 90 West. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A link to a YouTube video and an attached MP3 file, along with scanned and signed release of liability and application forms can be emailed to opot@sanantonio.gov. Deadlines for the 2012 competition will be announced in the spring.
