Volunteer ServicesThe Volunteer Program welcomes civic organizations, schools, clubs, Boy and Girl Scout troops and interested citizens who wish to help clean, maintain and upgrade City parks. We also assist corporations and businesses looking for employee service projects and have done numerous projects with organizations bringing large conventions to San Antonio.
You provide the volunteers and the elbow grease. We'll provide the materials.
Volunteer Services works with each group to select a project and will furnish the tools and supplies as well as providing technical support during the service project. The scope of work varies and any size or age group can be accommodated. Tasks include anything that can be accomplished in a park such as painting, trash pick up, tree/brush trimming, lake shoreline cleaning, spreading bark mulch or a labor intensive task that may be unique to a particular site.
