The information provided in these pages describes basic policies, procedures, and services offered by the Purchasing Division. The Purchasing Division is composed of staff from Central Stores and Purchasing.  Our aim is to assist you in providing you the necessary support to do your job.

  • Ensure specifications clearly articulate the needs of city departments and invite maximum participation from suppliers.

  • Maintain a high level of professional customer service for all internal and external customers.

  • Provide strategic procurement services while achieving the greatest value to the City of San Antonio.

  • Strengthen the department by emphasizing training and staff certification.
