Verano TIRZ #28

Description: This TIRZ was designated in 2007 to stimulate development in the southern section of the City, between Southwest Loop 410 and the Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility. It encompasses 2,700 acres and is projected to capture $235 million in tax increment throughout its life of 29.86 years.

Significant Projects:

Texas A&M University Campus - At project completion, the area will host over 10,000 new permanent jobs and generate over $790 million in annual economic activity.
Residential/Commercial - The project will develop nearly 7,000 new residential units and 5.9 million square feet of commercial space.
