Senior Minor Repair Program
A public/private partnership, which seeks to revitalize the inner-city, by increasing the number of affordable housing units.
This minor repair program is designed to provide much needed repairs to owner-occupied properties in order to address health and safety concerns Items addressed under this program include plumbing, electrical, roof, heating, non-working utilities, damaged or broken windows and doors, ingress and egress violations and handicap modifications. The program is specifically targeted to senior citizens, age 62 or above, and income levels at or below the current area median income of 80%. The maximum subsidy per unit for this program is $4,999.
