![]() From
letter dated July 7, 2006 The City of San Antonio would like to inform you that it has reached an agreement with Time Warner Cable (TWC) regarding the terms under which TWC will return public access programming to its cable system. Effective today, the Public Access Channel is available on TWC digital Channel 20. In order to access the Public Access Channel, viewers must subscribe to one of TWC’s digital service packages. As part of the agreement with the City, TWC is introducing a promotional package for $14.95 a month. The City has maintained since January 2006 that the Public Access Channel should be returned to the community and we have worked diligently to resolve this matter. The City purchased and installed video equipment in March of 2006, and has continued to collect Public Access programming for several months, as well as hired a full-time Television Programming Coordinator, in order to take over the operation of Channel 20. Pre-produced programs may be
delivered to Frank Burns, Television Programming Coordinator, located
at the Municipal Plaza Building (114 W. Commerce) on the 4th Floor,
between the hours of 9 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you have
any questions, please contact me at (210) 207-7234. |
