About the Artist Registration Form

Established in 1996, the City of San Antonio Artist Registry is the primary resource used for selecting artists for design enhancement opportunities. The Registry currently maintains over 1000 local, national, regional and international artist files that include information about artists and examples of their work. The Registry is free and accessible to the public.

How to Register
     
Complete an Artist Registry Application Form Download PDF form  
Submit between 10-20 color slides of recently completed work  
  Number and print your name on each slide.  
  If applicable include images of artworks that are integrated into the built-environment are functional.  
  Indicate which five slides you would like us to use for primary viewing. The Enhancement Program will view and consider additional slides at its discretion.  
 

All artists’ work will be digitized, therefore it is suggested you submit high focused slides. High-resolution digital images can be submitted to the program available. Other formats, including original works, will not be accepted.  
Submit a slide list  
    Include title, date, dimensions and materials.  
    If applicable, indicate who commissioned the work, the location and a brief description.  
Submit a current resume  
Submit a list of three professional references  
Include a self-addressed envelope marked with proper postage for updating of your materials  
  Please arrange to have your materials updated annually. Files containing materials dated over 5 years will be considered inactive.
