About the Public Art Committee
The purpose of the Public Art Committee (PAC) is to develop, promote, and preserve aesthetic excellence in public spaces for San Antonio residents and visitors. The PAC reviews and makes recommendations to the HDRC on all final design enhancement projects, all proposed gifts and loans, and deaccessioning, inventory, conservation, maintenance, repair, or alteration of artworks in the City Art Inventory. Its membership is comprised of representation from the Historic and Design Review Commission and at-large PAC appointments.

About the Historic Design Review Commission
Comprised of fourteen members with expertise in the fields of city planning and architecture, the HDRC reviews all projects related to exterior changes of historic or publicly-owned properties in the city.
