Program News

New bike lanes are currently being constructed as part of the Citywide Bikes Project, a CIMS project.
  • Commerce and Buena Vista bike lanes from Frio to 19th are complete.
  • Vandiver bike route from Loop 410 to Rittiman is complete.
  • Ingram Road bike lane from Callaghan to Benrus currently under construction.
  • Avenue B bike lane from Newell/Casa Blanca to Lion's Field Park currently under construction.
  • Theo and Malone (from Probandt to Zarzamora) bike lanes currently under construction.
  • Cincinnati Avenue bike lane from Fredericksburg Road to Camino Santa Maria currently under construction.

In addition, bike facilities were recently installed at the following locations using Advanced Transportation District (ATD) funds.

  • Josephine Street bike lane from N. St. Mary's to Avenue B
  • Pine Street bike lane from Drexel to Steves
  • Pine Street bike lane from Nevada to Aransas
  • Manor bike lane from Donaldson to Mulberry
  • Dickinson bike lane from Sunshine to Alexander Hamilton
  • Donaldson bike route from Elmendorf to Quill
