The City of San Antonio seeks submittals (qualification packages) from qualified nonprofit organizations interested in becoming certified City of San Antonio Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) in order to assist the City with providing affordable housing to our citizens.

A CHDO is a private nonprofit, community-based service organization whose primary purpose is to provide and develop decent, affordable housing for the community it serves. Certified CHDOs receive certification from the City indicating that they meet certain HOME Program requirements and therefore are eligible for HOME funding.

A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held at 1400 South Flores – Training Room, on Friday, October 19th at 10AM. Attendance at the Pre-Submittal Conference is highly recommended.
