San Antonio Police Department NEW TEXAS LAWS Effective September 1, 2005

On September 1, 2005, a number of new Texas laws went into effect, including * a law concerning "Moving Vehicles After a Crash" (Texas Transportation Code 550.022) * a law concerning "Use of Wireless Communications Devices (including Cell Phones) by Teen Drivers" (Texas Transportation Code 545.424) * a law concerning "Class B Misdemeanor for Driving Around/Disregarding a Barricade" (Texas Transportation Code 472.022) For additional information, please see SAPD Media Advisory of 08-31-05.
