Miraflores Master Plan
The Miraflores property, formerly known as the Uruttia Estate, was purchased by the City in 2006. The property previously was owned by the University of the Incarnate Word and A.T.&T. It is recognizable as the property with the statues and sculpture along Hildebrand Avenue between the entrance to Brackenridge Park and the AT&T office building.
The master plan addresses issues such as the construction of a pedestrian access bridge over the San Antonio River from Brackenridge Park and restoration of the artwork on the property in an effort to restore the original beauty to this portion of the Uruttia Estate.
The project is funded by the City of San Antonio and a $100,000 grant received by the San Antonio Conservation Society from the Coates Foundation, which will be used for the restoration of the artwork.
