The Parks & Recreation Department teams up with local school districts in the summer to provide an eight-week, structured, supervised program for children at
more than 50 sites throughout the City. The recreation-themed activities include active games, sports, arts & crafts, a weekly enrichment program in art and science and a free lunch and snack program.
Fee: Summer Participant fees are based on a sliding scale according to income and family size. See
Summer Participant Fee Chart file attached below. If you presume your family will qualify for a
reduced fee, an Income Verification Form must be completed.
