Elmendorf Park

Elmendorf Park is a community park best known for its beautiful lake, which provides fishing for area residents and a habitat for birds, fish, turtles and other wildlife. In addition the park features a small shelter, playscape, and 26 picnic units, which make it a great place for family picnics and barbecues. The small pavilion is available first-come, first-serve. The baseball field is leased to an outside organization and is not available for rentals. Elemendorf also has a 1.22 mile length trail of decomposed granite for walkers. One of the department's 21 outdoor swimming pools is located here and is open in the summer months.

The pool is also available for parties during the summer months.

It may be rented for a two-hour period before or after regular public hours, which are 1 – 7 p.m. The facility rental fee is incremental, based on the number of people expected to attend the event. An additional fee is assessed for lifeguards, which are provided. One week’s notice is required for a reservation. Call 207-3113 for more information.
