McAllister Park, popular with hikers and bikers alike, is home to four pavilions that can be rented. Al Becken Pavilion, Pavilion 2, and Turkey Roost (#4, not pictured) are available for $40 for the first four hours Monday through Thursday and $25 an hour for every hour after that; or $80 for the first four hours and $25 for every hour after that on Friday through Sunday and holidays. The basketball court and softball field are available first-come, first-serve.

Pavilion #3 is free because it was donated to the city, but a reservation permit is still required.

The park boosts three miles of hard surface trails, but also has soft surface trails and nature trails suited for biking and hiking. The wooded areas with a creek running through them make great surroundings for a nature walk. Sports fields, including soccer and baseball, are leased by local organizations and are not available for reservations.
