The San Antonio Park Police maintain their own twenty-four hour a day dispatch center. The Park Police Division employs three full time dispatchers. In addition several officers on each shift have received specialized training and are certified to dispatch in the absence of civilian dispatchers.

The Park Police Dispatch Center is a satellite-dispatching console of the San Antonio Police Department. Park Police dispatchers utilize the most modern Computer Automated Dispatch (CAD) programs along with their own computer programs on the City of San Antonio Main Frame Computer unique to the Park Police and the Department of Parks & Recreation.

Park Police Dispatchers have direct radio and telephone access to all emergency services such as San Antonio Police Department, San Antonio Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services, etc… Park Police Dispatchers also have access to an array of services that can be used by the officers in the field to assist the public. These services include computerized locator services, taxi companies, hotel information and more. The Park Police Dispatch Center is dedicated to providing unsurpassed service both to the officers in the field and the public they serve.
