Plaza de las Islas 100 W. Commerce

Plaza de las Islas is available for special event reservations only. Those reservations are handled by the Dowtown Operations Department. A letter of reservation request is required. The letter should include the name of the organization, name, address & daytime telephone number of contact person or event coordinator, the faciity/specific area requested, type of event/activity; date and time of event/activity, and number of participants anticipated.
The letter can be faxed or mailed to Tonya Drake, Special Events Manager for Downtown Op;erations.

Famous for its fountain with "dancing lights" visible after dusk, Plaza de las Islas is located near the center of historic San Antonio and directly across from the Municipal Plaza building that houses the City Council Chambers. It does not have a pavilion, rest rooms or off-street parking. The rental fees are as follows:
Commercial rate - $500 for four hours and $100 for each hour after that.
Nonprofit commercial rate - $250 for four hours and $40 for each additional hour after that.
Non-commercial use (such as weddings) - $100 for 4 hours and $10 for each hour after that.
