Rental of City and County park facilities

In a move to consolidate functions and increase efficiency, all parks and recreation reservations can now be made through one of the five City of San Antonio Community Link Service Centers. The Reservation Office in Brackenridge Park has closed. Permits can be picked up at any of the Community Link Centers.

The Community Link Service Centers are:

  • City Base Community Link Center, 3154 S.E. Military Drive, Suite 102, inside City Base Landing Shopping Center, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. 210-207-6570.

  • Las Palmas Shopping Center, 830 Castroville Road. 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday- Friday and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday. 210-207-6545

  • Valley View Shopping Center, 8523 Blanco Road at West Avenue. Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 210-207-6150;
  • South Park Mall, next to JC Penney. Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., 210-207-6141.
  • Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge Plaza Shopping Center, 11220 Perin Beitel, Suite 112. Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - 210-207-5165.

    Fees are subject to change. Please be sure to check with the Community Link Centers for the latest and most accurate fee information. With the exception of community centers, most facilities can be rented up to one year in advance of your event.

    Note that facilities will not be double-booked, For example, only one reservation can be made per day at the pavilions.

    Park Hours

    Please note that City parks are open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. unless exempted under the park curfew ordinance passed by City Council in June 2000. The curfew does not apply to the River Walk, Alamo Plaza, La Villita, Market Square, HemisFair Park and Woodlawn Lake Park. Exceptions may be made for special events through the permit process.     Alcohol Restrictions City Council voted on April 24, 2002, to restrict the use of alcohol in City parks, except by permit or in those parks exempted under the ordinance. The restrictions go into effect June 1, 2002.

    Glass Container Ban

    City Council also approved an ordinance banning glass containers from use in City Parks. Parks that are exempted from the glass beverage container restriction are:
