San Antonio's oldest park and the second oldest park in the United States behind Boston Common, San Pedro Park is also a beautiful place for a family event, having recently undergone extensive renovations. The park can be rented for special events. Call for fees, which vary depending on size and nature of event. Click on this link to check availability:

During the off season the park features a beautiful lake (the lake/pool is not available to rent as a swimming facility). During the summer months the lake is enclosed and serves as a swimming pool. The park is also home to San Pedro Playhouse, the San Pedro branch library, McFarlin Tennis Center and Koger Stokes Softball Complex.

Koger Stokes is available for tournament and league play. For information on the Parks and Recreation Department's adult slow and fast pitch softball as well as girls' fast pitch softball, call 207-3109 or 207-3127.Organizations interested in holding tournaments at Koger Stokes should submit a letter of request to the Reservations Office. The cost is $165 a day for 12 hours and $15 an hour for every hour over 12.

McFarlin Tennis Center, which features lighted hard surface courts, offers tennis lessons, junior clinics and leagues for adults both during the day and in the evening. For more information on tennis court rentals, lessons and tournament schedules at McFarlin Tennis Center, call 210-732-1223.

The pool is not available for rentals. Please check the list of other outdoor pools, which are all available for party reservations.
