Rental
Travis Park special event reservations are handled by the Dowtown Operations Department. A letter of reservation request is required. The letter should include the name of the organization, name, address & daytime telephone number of contact person or event coordinator, the faciity/specific area requested, type of event/activity; date and time of event/activity, and number of participants anticipated.
The letter can be faxed or mailed to Tonya Drake, Special Events Manager for Downtown Op;erations.

Travis Park is a four-corner park with a statue in the middle and numerous park benches throughout the park. There is no gazebo or pavilion. The fee structure is as follows:
$500 for 4 hours, commercial use, $100 for each additional hour;
$250 for 4 hours, non-profit commerical use, $40 each additional hour;
$100 for 4 hours, non-commercial use, $10 for each additional hour.
In addition there is a security deposit based on number of participants expected: $500 for 400 or less; $800 for 401-1,000; and $1,300 for 1,001 or more people.
There are no rest rooms and no off-street parking. |

Travis Park was deeded to the City in 1873 as a public square making it one of the city's oldest public parks. It is home to two Civil War era cannons.
