Joe Ward Community Center is one of 27 Parks and Recreation Department year-round community centers that has facilities that can be rented by the public. Rental of the facility includes the gym and game/activity room. The fees are as follows:
Ward has seven aluminum tables, five round tables and about 200 chairs available as part of the rental. Call the center at 732-2481 to confirm the numbers available for your event.

Joe Ward is located in Joe Ward Park, where you will find a number of other amenities, including a playground, swimming pool (open during the summer months), basketball court and ball field.

The pool is also available for parties during the summer months by calling 207-3113.
It may be rented for a two-hour period before or after regular public hours, which are 1 – 7 p.m. The facility rental fee is incremental, based on the number of people expected to attend the event. An additional fee is assessed for lifeguards, which are provided. One week’s notice is required for a reservation. Call 207-3113 for more information.
