for zero tolerance of violent crimes by providing prevention, social services,
crisis intervention and counseling to victims of violent crimes. Assists with
referrals to sources of assistance outside the police department, including
protective orders, victim compensation, specialized counseling, and legal
services. Also provides counseling for children who have been victimized,
through the Child Services Program.
