SCHOOL SAFETY PROGRAMS
The San Antonio Police Department's School Safety Detail provides a variety of Programs and Presentations concerning Child Safety and School Safety to children from Kinder to High School. Programs and Presentations include:
  • General "Child Safety" Presentations
  • "Stranger Danger" Presentations
  • "Danger of Illegal Drugs and Misuse of Prescription Drugs" Presentation
  • "Bike Safety" Presentations
  • Bike Rodeos (events)
  • Safety Patrols - Provide Training and Stop Signs for Patrols
  • Career Presentations

SCHOOL SAFETY CALENDAR OF EVENTS

ANNUAL SCHOOL SAFETY PATROL RALLY: April 14, 2007
Held at Muncipal Auditorium from 0900 to 1200 hrs. Doors will open at 0830 hrs. Participants should wear school T-shirts and belts.

CITY-WIDE BIKE RODEO : May 26, 2007
Held at Convention Center, Exhibit Hall D, from starting at 0830.
Drop-off will be at the curb on S. Alamo and Market St.
Helmets are REQUIRED.
NO TRAINING WHEELS.
All 1st Place Winners and Perfect Scores are invited. (If First Place winner cannot attend, then the 2nd Place Winner is invited.) All Perfect Scores (200) are invited.
