TACTICAL CRIME RESPONSE UNIT (TRU)

The SAPD Tactical Crime Response Unit (TRU) was deployed January 13, 2007.
TRU operates 7 days a week, from 1800 hrs to 0200 hrs (6:00 pm to 2:00 am),
and is able to move rapidly from area to area of the city to address
emerging crime issues. TRU has been very productive during its
period of deployment during 2007. TRU Stats are posted below. |
