The San Antonio Police Department Armory
and Supply Office is a part of the Training
Academy Section. The mission of the armory staff is to
support all law enforcement officers of the San Antonio
Police Department, both in training and
in gun maintenance and repairs. SAPD Cadets must qualify
with the Glock Model 22 semi-automatic pistol before
they graduate, and all SAPD officers are required to
re-qualify yearly, at In-Service Training.
The SAPD
Armory is a full functioning armory and nearly all
gun repair is done in house. The Armory maintains facilities
at both the Training Academy Range Building. The Armory phone number
