All convicted Sex Offenders in Texas are required to register
with their local law enforcement agency, which forwards
this information to the Texas Department of Public Saftey (DPS).
DPS publishes this information on a web site that is searchable
by ZIP Code and Offender Name. Because the San Antonio Police
Department maintains names of only those Sex Offenders residing
within the San Antonio city limits, we believe the public
is better served by having access to a database that includes
ALL registered Sex Offenders within Bexar County, not just
those within the San Antonio City limits. Therefore, we are
providing this LINK to the the DPS Database.
