The Operational Support Section, commanded by

(e-mail) oversees the Property &
Evidence Storage Office, Vehicle Storage Unit,
the Communications Unit, and
the Ground Transportation Office.

PROPERTY & EVIDENCE STORAGE
OFFICE : This detail has responsibility for the custody
of all personal, found, recovered, and evidentiary property, except
impounded vehicles and bicycles.
Abandoned property is periodically sold at

GROUND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE:
The Ground Transportation Office has the responsibilities
or regulating and enforcing vehicle for hire rates and
services. They can be reached by phone: 207-7482. |

The Vehicle Impound Lot is located on Growden road.

VEHICLE AUCTIONS:
Abandoned vehicles are also sold at AUCTION every Wednesday
at the Growdon Vehicle Storage Compound, 3625 Growdon Rd.,
by Kelly AFB, starting at 10:00 am. For more information,

COMMUNICATIONS :
The Communications Unit is the hub of citizen/police
contact. Citizens in need of police services contact the
telephone clerks at the Communications Unit; the clerks
then code and relay the information to the dispatchers who
are in constant contact with patrol officers in the field.
Communications handles both emergency ("911") and
non-emergency calls for service.
